you could try using the adjustment on the accelerator cable.....not sure it that would work...

Why do you want to adjust the idle? These cars have an idle air control valve.......

What is temperature when this happens?
Is it only happening when the Temp goes up or when the engine is cold too?

!.Try servicing the IACV. (Idle Air control Valve)

2. If that doesn't work and if you are only getting this problem when car temp goes up try changing/removing your thermostat....

An IAC (idle air control) motor is designed to adjust the engine idle RPM speed by opening and closing an air bypass passage inside the throttle body. The cars computer or ECM (electronic control module) receives information from various sensors and will output signals to adjust the IAC motor in or out to adjust engine idle speed by controlling engine idle air. An IAC motor can fail one of two ways, either the motor short circuits and stops working or the motor will develop high resistance and cause the IAC control motor to react slowly, either failure can cause the engine to stall at idle. When a trouble code scan is performed it sometimes won't always detect a failed or weak IAC motor. To check the IAC motor remove the unit, with the wires connected turn the key to the "on" position without starting the engine, the IAC should move in or out. If the IAC motor does nothing it has probably failed, replace it with a new unit and recheck system. Note: while the IAC motor is removed clean (use aerosol carburetor cleaner) the passages the IAC uses to control idle air speed, also inspect the IAC for a build-up on the seating (pointed) end and clean as necessary.

it's located on the bottom of the throttle body, it has two hoses and an electrical jack plugged into it....

I had a similar problem like this but not as severe where the car started to buck and I did all those mentioned above, it didn't alleviate the problem..it only happens when the car is hot.....the only thing left to try was replacement of the IACV which I havent got around too........

hmm ok bro, well the only thing I could think of next. is to replace your IACV and if that still don't work you might have to change your ECU...

hope you get through and continue to keep us posted...

ok so i think the problem has been solved....accidentally that is, i was looking at my engine and decided that my coolant bottle was lookin real disgustin so i pull it out to clean it, so i remove my Battery, air filter, radiator fan, and radiator.......flush out the radiator, clean all the muck out the hoses, and while all the hoses were disconnected i run water through the engine water intake to clean out any muck in the system, the battery was disconnected for about an hour......put the whole thing back together, fresh red coolant.......the only thing i did unusual was hit the IAC a few taps with the back of my screwdriver......its been over 24 hours now and the bucking in the engine has stopped, also my tyre pressure sensor light seems to be working normally now....maybe my IAC was dirty and tapping it loosend up some dirt ??, maybe disconnecting the battery for that long period reset my ECU??? im totally clueless!!

If tapping the IACV does this, then maybe you should take it out and clean it???
