just last wk emmet on his radio show 103.5fm was saying he was glad his wife was on her way to recovery & he was dedicating songs to her - poor guy must be devastated now
One of the best we have ever produced in broadcasting in T&T. She was from an era when pronunciation and diction were the hallmarks of professional broadcasters in T&T.
Not like the garbage that passes for the broadcast medium today.
Allyson was my aunt and god mother, she had a rare blood disease that caused organ failure, she had been in the ICU of st clair for exactly 30 days today, about 15 of which she was in an induced coma. She was doing better last couple of weeks, but this week took a turn for the worse and after an emergency surgery on saturday she passed on later that night.
thankfully her suffering is over and is on to a better place. Thanks for all the condolences, she will be dearly missed and was loved by many.

Trinidad Rugby has lost one of its greatest fans!!! no one gave sideline banter like Allyson every game we played against Caribs you where sure to hear a near constant stream of "Northerns Hens or baby's in blue" coming from Allyson.
but you where sure that you would also get the best hug after the game in the pellos!!
I remember being bored to death growing up, when primary school wasn't important and I used to be home half the time, watching her shows with my sisters, couldn't help but respect her, she really is a Trini icon. RIP! I hope her family makes it through this time alright.
Sincerest condolences to family and friends.I hope Mrs Hennessy is in a better place. The pain of losing someone close is an indication of caring and as we continue to try to understand why it becomes apparent that we must cherish the time we have with each other.
