Passed and saw a black suv a few meter away from starlite taped off and hood up starlite is taped off and real police any 1 know anything else i know somebody got shot.

I noted there were TWO of them parked causing a mini pile up around 10pm last night. One of them had their bonnet open. It looked like one party was giving the other assistance.

they say 1 and the others ran to escape the gunfire, news said the xtrail was borrowed from some Sea Lots gang leader and some rival thought it was him or his people and decided to blaze

The victims have been identified as Mikhail Roberts, 21, of Simeon Road, Petit Valley

Police said the first incident occurred along the Diego Martin Main Road, mere metres from the Four Roads Police Station.

According to police, around 9 p.m., Roberts, along with some friends, was attending to a black Nissan X-Trail SUV he was driving which experienced mechanical difficulties.
A man, police said, emerged from a vehicle on the northbound lane of the Western Main Road, approached Roberts and his friends and opened fire.
The suspect ran back across the roadway and escaped in a waiting vehicle.
Roberts ran a short distance and collapsed outside a gas station where he died. Trey Eligon, one of Roberts' friends, was shot in the hip and leg during the incident. He remains warded in stable condition at the Port of Spain General Hospital.

A motive is yet to be established for the incident, which is being investigated by WPC Bob-Lynch of the Region I Homicide Bureau of Investigations.
