a properly fitting helmet thats strapped on will not roll off the head in an accident........
appears that he died because his was not strapped and in the get-off his head was smashed by the road...........

just a note, the jacket he has on, is a pressure suit, its primary use is in off-road riding.....
short pants, and the socks more than likely means he was wearing sneakers........

never understood why some local riders are willing to spend $40K+ for a bike, then add $15K in accessories, but skimp on protective gear...........i guess its the "that will never happen to me" mentality.

well i guess since you know differently, you will have no problem convincing the FIA and FIM that helmets "do diddly squat"

Purchasing a helmet is not just for style or just because you have to wear one due to law...there are criteria to be considered when purchasing a helmet, just to name a few, proper size, safety rating, proper use (see man wearing half ah helmet, that's madness), etc.
Also, a helmet will not guarantee you safety but can assist in preventing serious injure or death once properly worn. Remember, these helmets are designed with different ratings which were tested to not break on impact at certain speeds.

Fellow Riders, be cautious on the roadways and not becuz your bike can exceed 185mph does not mean you have to go that fast (this goes for the four wheelers too).
STOP playing with your lives and others who use the nation's roadway!

Spokes like a wheel.
When will bike men realize that they don't own the road. The REAL owners are Kamla (aka Pioneer/ Sound Barrier/ Pyramid), drivers of Honda, Vigo & Other Lost Spaceships.
Thank you,

R.I.P to the biker dude.....I like bikes.....but I love ME more and truthfully I don't think I have the balls to ride a bike in T&T where other drivers have no RESPECT for anything on the roads.

A motorbike jus to fug up yes...... Almost all accidents involving a bike will result in a serious injury. Two cars could collide and everybody come out ok, but a bike, its a must that you fall off.

i cant agree with this either........the majority of bike accidents aren't publicised, hence we do not hear of the many where the rider escaped unhurt, or with minor injuries.....

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... 92C0B9CBFF

almost all of the clips in the above link are as a result of pushing too hard, but they all walk/limp away...........

i'm not a fan of riding on the street, and have no intentions to buy a sportbike.......unless we get a circuit track which offers track days, then maybe i'd get a track only sportbike.......

cacasplat3, ITS A MUST FOR A BIKER TO FALL OFF HIS/HER BIKE IN AN ACCIDENT !!!111
Come on man, even if its a minor collision, thats a must!!
Whether injuries or not, that very serious and terrifying to a rider. Say two cars involve in a minor collision, everyone will most likely walk away unharmed, but not so with a bike. Every collision is almost always a "fall off" and the slightest could result in injuries.

Worse yet if you on a bike...thaz suicide

I suprise there were no deadly accidents there as yet.

Does the government care?...nope...cuz they drive on the busroute.

that's nutting compared to when they was paving the new lane southbound from charlieville to chaguanas....they had no street lights...and paved HALF the highway at least 3 inches higher than the right lane....if ppl didnt kno and was switching lanes, it was swerving hard all ova the lanes cause the car climbing a 3inch lane at 110kmph on a dead dark road with no lines for 3 lanes....i passed an accident on dat stretch every evening/night for bout 2 months...dat was the worst i ever saw..
Also, cant even count the number of times bikers reach the red light, den pop a wheel as it turn green and speed off endangering everyones safety...saw one person do it by curepe lights, man nearly eh see a SUBWAY van merging westwards from de SMR...if u see swerve and ninja styles man put down..we swear he was going to end up in bhagwansingh's mango tree oui..

anyways, RIP

After someone I knew died and his helmet came off and I saw the internal injuries we sustain from head injuries its obvious that a helmet is nothing without a chin strap. I even know a cyclist who died from not strapping his chin strap tightely. That was a bicycle, imagine a bike. Also head injuries = death! This guy may have been alive especially with the chest plate if he wore his helmet correctly.
