guys a question as we on installing intercoolers ....I want to install a front mount intercooler in my 2.5 turbo dmax, they don't come with one.......

is their a specific type of cooler to install for a diesel turbo and anything i should know?

can intercoolers be installed on a naturally aspirated engine??? wud it cause any sort of complications?

No complications what so ever...

There are no power gains from installing an intercooler on an NA engine but the TORQUE gain is SUPERB!!!!

Because of the additional weight of the vehicle, you will take a longer time to accelerate, meaning the truck will be in the torque curve for alot longer, hence producing about... 10% more torque for the time which ur in the sweet spot of the torque band.

This translates to easier acceleration at the higher end, and alot more grunt for pulling thru 4WD only trails!

I have seen a guy with a grey frontier with a front mount ic. Install looks real clean, from the outside anyway.

it have a guy in pheonix park with a black 3.0 frontier! but!!! he drop een a RB25 turbo in it! and it have a bigg ass IC in front!!!

wow that's a nice kit!

Only thing that worries me is the piping near to the wheel-well:

Might have to put some heavy rubber or to reinforce the wheel-wells to protect that piping.
Wonder how it would do down here in t'dad though?

Might give the Navara a run!
