I don't see the need to change the spring in a 04 vehicle, go with the oem shocks. The ride quality in those corollas are good so stick to original.

Sorry dey
oem-original equipment manufacturer.

What i meant was to use the same brand that the car was originally fitted with, eg kyb, tokico

I really don't know what brand teh corolla came with but i'm sure your mech will be able to tell you.

Personally I always had a preference for Tokico over KYB, I just had experience with it lastin longer and they cost about the same thing..
In the end its your call

PS. Your springs are fine, dont need to touch them for another 6 yrs AT LEAST

Its down to your ride preference and depth of pockets.

If you can afford it and want to preserve your OE ride then go OEM from TTL.

Generally there's Tokico and KYB on the outside. My experience is that KYB tend to be more hard riding than Tokicos. I currently use Tokicos for comfort.

If you can afford it and want to improve handling and cornering etc then try some Tokico HP etc.

Gas for handling, and oil for ride quality.

x2

Got some KYB gas for the Frontier, geeze those things were hard. They actually raised the front suspension, i shite you not. Eliminated most of the bouncing though so that was good.
