That's just one of many variations that were sold...
Land-Rovers were really something else... they were designed to be used for a wide range of applications, from ploughing to operating as a bus (there is an example of the latter on the Morne Coco Road just as you leave Petit Valley heading to Maraval)... the hand-book that was given out with the Series II read like a G.I. Joe catalogue  ...

MG Man wrote:man spot he own cars jed

Was wondering about that...
Can I put up some shots of a Vauxhall Viva that I have seen from time to time? Should have some of some Land-Rovers and a tatty Escort somewhere...

It's owned by a High Court Judge who migrated from England. It's not for sale....he's been offered $1M+ for it and turned it down.

MG, do you know of a white convertible MG on the northern side of Mcinroy St., Curepe? Is it running? It seems to be in very good condition... It was at night, and I couldn't stop for too long as the folks there might not care for my snooping :( - you know how disreputable I look already...

SPEC S wrote:Don't think these were ever spotted.....ignore the datsun in the middle :)

The datsun 1600 on the left is (i think) one of the very few SSS remaining in trinidad.
This car won the 'most original datsun' back in the 80's at an event hosted by Neal and Massey in morvant.
If it's the same car, It was painted by my straightener in debe (bobby).
In my opinion they are the best painters.

Spec S please correct me if i'm wrong.
thanks
