Great article, Vince La Foret is an excellent source of information. Hope to have the funds to buy a T/S lens soon.

I didn't open every image in that article, but many are fake Tilt-Shift.

These two are authentic, and I like em:





Also, it's unfortunate that more applications for T/S weren't shown. Earlier this year Greg Heisler, as the keynote speaker at the opening of WPPI 2010 discussed his use of Tilt Shift lenses in portraiture. The jaws of at least a few hundred photographers in the room, myself included hit the floor as he showed how he applied an incredible understanding of the properties of T/S to create otherwise impossible photos.

He's discussing the lighting, not the lens technique here, but you can see the T/S effect in the photo.

Anthony I really enjoyed that whiteboard explanation he did of the Giuliani photo. How you pros work and think is always good to watch- can't replicate though. :p

Apple....Those are the trays containing samples of earth that miners used to test as they tried to track the mineral veins......I think tese samples were taken bout 50-70 yrs ago, I was not payin attention.....
