distortion help

i am gettin a lil distorion in my system when deck on zero i still herin a little sound an alot of distortion cud sum1 please tell me wat is d problem

amplifer gains set too high
poor quality rca's picking up inductance

You can't get distortion with no signal because there is no signal to be distorted, you are getting noise.
See pioneer's comment. Ground your deck RCA shields.

But i am not usin d rca on the deck i am usin a pre amp 2 an amp

yuh suppose to splice de 12v +ve wire and send it to de pre amp dufus .... c'mon ,, we all know that
