seriously :?

hear wah...jus put on the boot by taking off the housing, use a sharp knife and make a lil slit so ya could reach the selector.

IMO...it might be easier to wrap ah old jersey around ur automatic shifter as it will serve the same purpose

You will have to take out the boot bracket, thus destroying a good ctr boot. Then the housing and moulding will squeeze the boot till it tear. Plus I dunno if the shift distance between 1-2, 3-4 and 5-R will be as long as P-1, which could further pull on it. Stop ricing de people car nah man. This doesn't make sense.

Ya all in here cracking me up.Yep rice in truth lol.Did some more investigation.Found the boot will fit back exact once the casing is removed.Only thing got to rig up sain now , cause it was done by someone and fitted back right without any problems , only thing he didnt have the knob.Another problem is the knob seems to be bracketed on to the underside of the casing  , so will try and find a fix around that lol.
