I want a BlackBerry Torch to replace aging 8800. In a head to head it came out worst time after time against the iPhone 4 but I just want to use it for "core" BlackBerry use so I don't care.

As soon as I can I am getting one.

Are you kidding me?
Did you even read the review or watch the video?
Have you not been seeing the MULTITUDE of vids online talking about it's lack of horsepower?

And what about the multitude of vids talking about how well it is performing? It sticks a little when zooming in on web pages, big deal.

Everyone thinks it's slow because of the processor. Bottom line.

Guess not since I'm going to get it anyway, I got my last BB 6 months ago so I'm able to get another phone @ the post-paid price @ b-mobile. I hope they don't kill me with a price though, or I'd have to wait on a Christmas special.

Oh wow, epic fail then, I guess I'll wait till it pops up in the Bargain Center. I would import one but I wouldn't want to take the risk of anything happening.

Dunno why people think TSTT gonna get this phone soon.

TSTT does not even have the 9650 or the pearl as yet. And like ABA said, they only brought out the Storm2 a couple months ago. Digicel is no different.

Torch is available on E-bay. 650us +

once a day works good for me, usually in the morning. I'm also bbm heavy which seems to draw more device memory then anything. In this case clearing group chats often helps dramatically.

I have 106MB free application memory and 1.8GB free space on the memory card... I'll try resetting more often and see if that helps :|

Shake the 9700 up and down so all the excess junk falls to the bottom of the phone and falls out the hole on the bottom left side.

That`ll speed it up!

I always have at least 135mb free on my 9700. and 5.2 GB ( out of 16gb) on my sd card

Battery pull once every 2 days is the best bet.
