help with speed sensor

Postby Nperry » August 3rd, 2010, 1:54 pm

ok i have a mazda familiar BJ 2001 model thats all wheel drive, it has a zl engine.

My hold light blinks off and on so i did a scan and got a speed sensor error. Does anyone know where the speed sensor located or how to stop the blinking.
Thanks in advance.

Speed sensor $485, original Mitsubishi! Mazda uses Mitsubishi sensors so consider them original!!!

By chance did that stop the hold light from blinkin??

I've got the same problem with my 323F BH model (B5 engine) - hold light comes on, and error code of speed sensor, but I can't locate the speed sensor, even southern sales said they will have to order it.

Cost to order is roughly 3 times the amount of yours...

first thing first, change your mechanic...jus joking, did you by chance recently install a HID kit? believe it or not, this is a relevant question...

no hid kit. Ryotech would contact you but the thing with doing the scan it must be done when the hold light blinking else u get no trouble code. It does not blink all the time.
