I have been backing both Germany and Argentina from the start of the world cup; it is really hard to determine who will get this one.

Yup. I was waiting for this game to happen. 2006 it was Mexico first then Germany same as 2010. It would not have no score 1 goal thing and then go defensive for the rest of the game like in 2006. Maradonna would not go defensive unless they are up 2-3 goals.

Revenge is in the air.

that germany/argentina game next week will be difficult to say outright which will win
both are playing excellent football and Ozil, klose and podolski in some serious form!!
Messi will need to show some good skill in that game and if he scores one, germany wont be able to stop him after!

I am a biased German fan (as yall kno by now) but this side has shown that team play (completely unselfish in 25yards beside possibly Podolski) is worth more than big star line-ups. They lost their talisman before the world cup and that may have been a blessing in disguise. Look at Muller! 20 years old! outshining the big guns, with world class finishing! Another victory is the fact that nearly all of them play in the Bundesliga! Be amazed at that synchronized attack of Ozil, Klose, Podolski and Muller!
But I'm glad they have to play Argentina. This is what the world cup is about: the big names in football at each other! only the BEST will lift the cup!

im with argentina and spain on this world cup eh

so as much as i want argentina to win against germany next saturday...WOW what a uphill battle will it be..judging how they faced against mexico their defense has some holes and those from germany has the pace and mindset to really pound them!
i really like how ozil is playing, he is smart, has pace and not selfish which makes a deadly combo!

These referees fuggin up de game man (well linesmen actually)... So FIFA still can't use a replay to see if something scored or not? What... it only have bout ah thousand cameras filming de blasted match!!!

But really... de fans loosing out in the end... that Germany/England match could have been epic... but that just sour de whole blasted game... we could have seen 3-4 or 4-5 (Germany would still win) but it woulda be the game of the tournament

And really... Mexico look solid against Argentina... level crossbar... they were looking to have the better possession/touches for the first few minutes then a blatantly offside goal is allowed for Argentina... funny how such "spontaneous linesman blindness" never occurs when its the "small team" scoring

To add insult to injury the "local expert" halftime on TV6 say "it is not offside because it happened behind the goalkeeper"... if anyone knows that fcker please try to explain the offside rule to him... blasted man nearly make me mash up mih damn TV!

Thought they would have been on more of a high coming off of knocking out the defending champs.
