Problem: HID Big light Y11

I have a big light Y11 that I bought with HID's, the problem is lately the left light doesn't illuminate, is there any thing I can do to troubleshoot or make sure nothing loose, or change a fuse ????

Please advise?

If I change the bulbs what type would I require to be street legal and not blinding people?

first question
check the fuse line to ur HID's ballast power, ifin tact, then check ur main headlight fuse to make sure its not blown or loose. next option is to replace/check ur ballast, as bulbs rarely go that easy.

if u want street legal, ppl say 6000k is pure diamond white ( selling gimmick ), 5000k is said to be pure white ( this is true ) and 4300k ( stock HID temp ) is known to be the safest temperature with the most light. this is known for a fact as i run 4300k and popo never had a problem with my few pull overs. then again my HIDs in projector housings.

Guys I got a replacement bulb......

What I'd like to know is the older bulb was a 35W D2R 4300K the new is 35W D2R 6000K,

would this make a difference???

OFCOURSE! The 6000k would look whiter with a hint of blue i believe

I know this, but what I meant anything electrical like wires burning or my headlight melting or discolouring with the bulb types?????

No I just go the bulb alone real $$$$ about $900 for one....
