chris, I was not at the event bro but I suspect he might have engine break or gear down from 5th to 3rd that caused the rod to come out of the piston, hot lapping imo would not cause this. I looking foward to getting back a track now I will start to throw some money behind th Evo.



W2J, you are correct, I was told that the problem happened when he geared down too soon after the 1/4.

^ yup, we stop at 535whp and 460tq because injectors ran out time for some 1200cc's

actually got tru with the injectors that day... ended up gettin 2400s :twisted:

495whp @ 16 psi 8-)

NASTY :shock: happy you got through bro, I sold a set of 2400's ID's to Stephan with the orange 2nd gen recently those injectors are effing massive I could only imagine if he DD the gas consumption.
