IMO Microsoft Security is the best free solution I used so far, lightweight and works great.

Norton slowed my windows systems to a crawl in the past. I never use that product again.

Besides, Linus can run win32 apps with different VMware. The latest Slackware has wine built in actually. and Ubunto too I think.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010

Is the only way to go. All others are inferior. For those who doubt me uninstall what you use and install a 30 day Kaspersky Internet Security Trial and run a full system scan. I guarantee it finds no less than 10 Viruses/Trojan/Worms.

seriously..are linux based OS that good? how is it;s compatibility with Windows-based software? i installed Ubuntu last year and didnt like it.
it seemed less user friendly and more complicated and i dont really have time to figure out how to use another OS..:?

for me AVAST is better dan d rest....tried d rest but nothin was goood as avast...especially on windows 7...is not a resource hog, runs real gd, antivirus picks up viruses one time(doesnt stick) and it scan s thoroughly
used norton an eset already on my laptop and it used to real slow down ...same ting with kapersky
doh talk about AVG.....Another Virus Gettin in...real sheit

using Avast (5 yr version ) with Ad Aware
