Well fellas I'm new to putting up posts but this is my second mazda though. Both were 626. fist one had a 1.8 FE engine which was re bored to 2.0 and now the new one is the 2.5 v6 cronos. It was changed to manual so rpm swinging like wow!! Have a little problem with it at the moment. When idling the engine is hunting. Any ideas on what causing it and how to solve it?

Gaijin clean the throttle body and MAF sensor 1st

gaijin check the throttle position sensor....also a vacuum leak after the throttlebody can cause hunting....

Ok Fellas well I decided to condemn the old intake system and will be doing a cold air intake. I will also be checking the vacuum lines as well as giving the air flow a good clean out. The car swinging 8500 rpm all kinda thing though, plus it sounds like a 1-J out the exhaust!! When it comes to boosting, I found a bolt on kit on swapped and boosted.com and I'm considering it. I'm supposed to race a partner with a mivec lancer with a 1.8 turbo engine in it. Let's hope he takes the bait. He has traction problems when going into boost, plus he can't drive manual too well so the cut ass book!! lol

hello, goodmorning....i own a mazda 323..BJ model..and im wondering if ther is a club for that particular mazda...for eg like the cube club...and the Nissan Y11 club.... if not do you think if a club was started ..we wud get a good response from 323 owners?
