Never had a problem with bittorrent. Havent used limewire since 2004 i think.

U need to check the Seed Ratio on it.

If you have TOO many leechers (like yourself) chances are it's gonna suck. Also the location of the seeders.

uTorrent wont help out if you got a file with 24 seeders and 499 leechers.

hrmm maybe their upload speeds are not good enough. consider you connecting to 5 Seeders who have 128kbit Upload speed and they are seeding to 2 other guys, imagine what would happen.

(5*128/8) / 3 {2 + 1(that's you)}
= 26.67kB/s

see? your speed would be ~25kB/s
