Qg and sr

All the P11-U14 came with Qg18, SR 18/20 (some have the 4WD configuration, usually have an ATESSA badge in the back) and the P12 came with a QR 20.

I believe that the P11/U14 also came with a 1.6 diesel, but I never researched that. Looking to change the engine in my U14 (QG18 doing over 350,000kms and starting to burn oil now) and those are the options I am looking at.

QR 20 rated at more HP than the SR, but it is not considered a sporty engine. SR can take modifications and pressure. the QG 18 is powerful enough to get you where you want to go with that size of car. Pretty decent torque, but don't expect it to outperform a stock SR20/ SR18. QG18 has no known performance upgrades that make significant HP gains.
