If he does do this then PNM gets a constitutional majority.
Then what? What about COP are they even serious about Unity?
Vote will split more now. Manning paving road by me and painting lines I feel snap election coming and manning getting a special majority. I would say start praying but that don't work.

Attorney Ricky Harnanan has been mandated to pinpoint the requirements that Basdeo Panday would need to form another political party, and maintain his position as Leader of the Opposition, according to a well-placed informant.

Panday knows he will never win another election, he is just doing this to spite Kam to split the votes, he now has a mindset that once he is not in charge of the UNC, then UNC wont be able to win another election.

I really don't think taking 1,600 votes constitutes splitting the votes...he has little or no support, all that is left to do now is put COP out of its misery and bring back the UNC as one party under Kamla and PNM biting the dust!

It's either you for or against the PNM. In which case in order to form the next govt all opposition parties must unite. It is stupid to form yet another political party from a seasoned politician as B. Panday

I respect the man because he did do alot for Trinidad when he was in office with less resources than Manning has now.. but he is embarrassing himself and just ruining his legacy with this whole Denise Plummer "I NA LEAVIN" sheit he's doing..

Look Ramesh get his licks and take it like a man, congratulate Kamla and was very gracious with his loss... Panday needs to see a bigger picture if he truly wants Trinidad's success and just step down gracefully. People would respect him more if he did.
