17" HFP Rims

Postby GeneralHonda » February 11th, 2010, 12:33 pm

Does anyone have these on their 8th gen. with the recommended tire size 215/45 R17?

If so, is the ride comfort affected negatively?

I am thinking about purchasing them but I currently like how the car rides with the 16" rims with the 205/55.

my friend has these on his EX and the only difference u will see is a little less comfort because of the lower profile tire..but its not to the point where u will regret it.

I have these rims with 215-50-17 kumho on my car and ride is as good as the original. My only regret is that I could have gone with 225's instead of the 215 as there is room for more tyre.

parts pro or any one else the original 16s are for sale if interested just call 681-4296

well i got the wheels and i must say that the ride is great. i went with the spec honda had with the 215/45 R 17 tires and the ride still feels like when the 16's were on. As i had pm'ed some of you the price already, i paid less than what was quoted to me from classic motors. I paid $4,600.00 vat inc which i think was excellent. i also went with the carbon bronze ones rather the blade silver (as in the above pic).

thanks again to all for their info.
