I have to wait a month or 2 for the sun to shift from behind the building but I will TRY......

I might hold you to that.

I wouldn't wait for it to shift, I'd shoot it now. It's perfect!
I realise you were at 1/30 @ f/5.6 ISO 800. Must have been pretty dark.
Is it that the colours aren't visible any earlier? Cos if they are. I'd shoot it in RAW, and ISO 200 (to try to even improve on the colours and sharpness of what you have already), while trying for a shutter speed above 1/160.

Also, if possible bracket shoot it. The results should be worth framing

Place kinda small though, but I ain't think you go make that a problem......so yeah you hold nah man.......

Can't remember the exact conditions......I normally take these sunrise shots in between getting getting ready to go to work.....weekends sun does done rise by the time I get up......

I will invest some more time into it this week and try the settings you recommended (lesson #1 I guess).....

Will also run out and get a tripod as well ......shoulda get one long time......

Thanks again for the advice....will send you the results....rain forecasted whole of next week but I go get it.....

Hi guys,
I want to shoot some stuff indoors using some halogen floodlihts as my primary light sources. Do these mix well with tungsten (Incandescents), and if I gell my flash with a tungsten gel, will I get even consistent white balance?
