Now one of the things that starting to really upset me is that I'm hearing talk about we were drag racing before the accident. That is just ridiculous to say the least!

Yeah, a rental Corolla wagon that does struggle to even get past 100km/h, a stock Wingroad and a stock AD (with some engine issues), are gonna be drag-racing at 80-90mph on that area....*steups*...and yet that's the kind of talk that is coming up.

I was the one leading, if I had crossed 80km/h I was going fast, anyone who knows me would know I generally don't play to drive hard for the most part because I know of the kinds of drives that does go on in that area. I highly doubt the others behind me would have been going any faster....

SPK1983, you will not be able to get away from the speculation and the blaming.

Just ignore it all, because at the end of the day the important person knows what really happen and HE is the only one to pass judgment on anyone!

I know, but it feels like such a disrespect to my friends in dismissing things so easily...I know they'll do it anyway.

*prepares to head down to the station to file my statement*

Oddly enough, I'm actually quite alert...once 1pm passed I've started feeling like I already slept...

But no, I'm not driving to the station, the other driver is picking me up so we'll both file our statements at the same time.

One thing i noticed, is that no one tried to be a hero to remove bodies, no one was taking pics with cams, fones etc and no one made specualtions during the entire ordeal. Sadly the situation could not be a better one. Everyone showed their due respect.

RIP...

ok forget the station, i don't think anxiety attacks will be appreciated during a statement being recorded. If possible I will go in the morning if things change for the better.

dam RIP
just take your time bro dont be driving yourself until you are certain you can handle it.
there will always be speculation and stories the media is notorious for this in the first place. Ive had a car knock off my wing mirror going down there and its just inattentiveness when they swerve into your lane

With all due respect, If you were not there last night then frankly this comment has absolutely no weight.

I think the place called Cocoa village or something like that. Coming from Mayaro, its just as you get to where the road become wide. Opposite where it occured has an unfinished concrete building that sayd for sale.

Condolence to the friends and family.
Lance why u jumping on streetbeast all he made was a comment,
what if the wagon was trying to overtake to re-gain his place in the center of the convoy

hopefully the police would take pics and from the glass on the ground wreckage they will be able to make a determination
until then rumours just hurt innocent family members. ignore them

Yeah, it's just off from Cocoa Village it happened, basically the southernmost part of Chiquito, the actual village would be on your right hand side if heading towards Manzanilla from Grande...quite easy to identify by the townhouses...

I used to live there many moons ago....

I should also mention, my brother and sister went to the accident scene a little while ago; you almost couldn't tell anything happened there, other than some glass down the hill and a little bit of mud dug out...so they can't make any speculations as to where the point of impact actually occured.

Yep, it was strange. No brake marks, just 2 damaged vehicles. One more drastically damaged than the other.

The fact there were no brake marks, meant that whoever it is drift, drift at the last second such that neither side had any decent chance to react. Either both were hugging the centre of the road or one vehicle swerve into the other at the last sec...but still, you'd expect some tire marks on the road at least.

I really dunno, and I don't want to play the blame game, it won't bring back my brothers-in-arms.
