Cottage Industry? why should me and my family or neighbors work and contribute to our skill base, community and nation when there is CEPEPP, food stamps and soup kitchens? Why work when i can get $1500 for my gen.Elec ballot ticket?

Wikipedia:

A cottage industry is an industry—primarily manufacturing—which includes many producers, working from their homes, typically part time. The term originally referred to home workers who were engaged in a task such as sewing, lace-making or household manufacturing.

i'm glad you brough that up:

palance- a word used by trinidadians to reflect a sense of enjoyment, fun, partying, and any other sort of liming

not to be confused with :

Panal Block - The act of of slamming your Rooster into the "panus" resulting in extreme pain and embarrassment.

whats that you may ask? well, glad to know i'm here to edmucate the masses:

Panus - The area between a woman's box and her anal playground.

Correct

I think NEDCO is the org. that persons can go to to foster such ventures and expand into small businesses.
Cottage industries in Trinidad would be activities such as, a food stand, a vegetable stall with backyard produce, sewing (as mention above), craft making, etc.

A POB text book will give you the information you require.
