loosing power

i rececently purchased a car and its giving trouble in term of power,it takes time to build up the speed and on the highway its hard to cross 100km/h,its like a force and buck before it actually starts to go,,what u guys suggest,i know its time for the timin belt to change,does that have anything to do with loosing power,please advise me

when last the car was serviced?

dude to tell u t truth,i only bought this car 2 weeks ago and i dont know anything bout cars,,yes yes im a girl,lol,all the man told me when i bought it is the timin belt needs changing...he bought it RORO

^^lol ok chick lol

well if u go down smooth with the person u bought it from and he's honest,u can ask him when last he did a general service on the vehicle and u can work ur way from there!

if it's a recent RORO and he say the timing belt needs changing,the car must have gotten plenty 'licks'

its a 2001 model mazda 323,,well before he sold me the car,,he had to service it but i didnt have all that time to wait till service and thing,lol,so i just took it discounted,,,so u think the problem is maybe servicing?? oh well ..........

also if u know what model car it is and engine installed

Take it to a reputable mechanic.

I imagine that is real, real stress. As the Syndicate said....which area you are from Darky so the tuners can direct you to reputable mechanics.

have some one check plugs
clean trottle body
clean injectors
clean air sensor

protege is the american/signapore branding of the 323, its called the familia in japan

just get a mechanic to check it..sounds like it needs a basic tuneup

The best thing to do is to take it to a mechanic or someone you trust who knows cars. For a car not to be able to cross 100km for lack of a tune up is actually very strange.
