You need to get the CC and go to the banks for cross ref. Best way is to use a lawyer!!!

I think Credit Chex (see Yellow Pages) does this sort of thing.

check - Credit Information Systems Limited (Dominic Suraj) 622 5703

what you are looking for is a comprehensive history on the vehicle ownership, liens/charges on the vehicle etc. this will be provided to you in a report form to give you a comfort level prior to purchase.

a title search is done by someone/organization that has license to do so. In other words the legal owner of the vehicle is cross-referenced to all credit records and if no mortgage exists on said vehicle then it is ok to proceed with credit transaction.

av knowles and transunion does this type of service as well

Sorry for the late response bro, all you need to do is have a search done for a Bill of Sale or a Credit Union Instrument registered against the vehicle.

The search clerks at the Ministry of Legal Affairs can do it for a reasonable fee.

I know a very reliable clerk that can do the search and report in 1/2 days, PM me if you still need the assist I'll get the number for you.
