his second and last stint there before he retired wasnt very fruitful though...esp with the promises after alredy leaving them on bad terms the first time...

Roy was a helluva goalie...he fell out with the coach after the game you spoke about and asked to be traded i think...he prolly fought every red wings keeper of that era

and got his ass beaten by each one.

He was up against the 5 on 3 the other night, and held it like a champ.

also have to explain to him how fast momentum can shift in a series, all it takes is a goalie to get hot...

happens every year.. keep an eye on this guy, if he keeps it up, they will go far.But Canadian teams are cursed in the playoffs... even when their goalies get hot, they can't seem to pass the conference finals.

Luongo is a good keeper

under-rated when on form imho...inconsistency doesnt help his cause though
agreed with cj..if he manages to keep this up, which i doubt, they can go far...

without the bighead jinx called McGrady they should make it to the 2nd rounds...

Course not, with a healthy Tmac, they would've been genuine title contenders.

They've got a very hgh IQ team with a good transitional defence and Yao in the middle. Only problem is they dont have a decent SG right now to do what tmac did......
