Congrats Vijay , I was talking to Wayde Who had Formula the Cortina ( That Gus built ) , and he reminded me the day that he stripped the 9" and took it by you in a 5 Gal bucket to rebuild . I was with him the night before on the Savannah .

I remember Wade how is he doing? Feel free to have him contact me. Is that Cortina still around?

I think it was blue and it had a 350 motor and a 350 tranny. It was fast on the street but when it got to the track it ran 13's .

Thats not skeezek by chance??

I remember a red skin fella with a blue/white cortina that blow out a oil hose or something at wallers one time and he crash..I think I was around 10 years old when that happen (quiet VJ  )

IIRC one of my uncles in San Juan (across the highway) painted Skeezek's cortina.. Skeezek later sold it and the new owner put a flare kit on it :?

It was a Blue Ghia Mk V with the Brown rough top . Vett 350 ( If memory serves the engine came from Castagne ) and When Gus built it he left the Ford 2000 Rear end ( Weld up Diff ) and it ran like that for quite a while but after Gus nearly depleted the supply of 2000 Diff's in T&T he went Ford 9' , Then sold it to Kenneth from Diego who Ran it for a bit then sold it to Wayde After that I lost track .
