WTK: AMP Review (MB Quart QAA4250)

Was looking at this amp. Anyone had a personal experience with it? Sonically accurate? Any comparisons to other amps?

also was this amp made before MB QUART was purchased by Maxxsonics?

yes but why is this always referred to? at the end of the day can you sit in a car close your eyes and tell who made an amp?

it is a good amp

what you may look at is older amps, who gives support for this?...noone

pimptacular, very interesting find.

i did some searching and apparently it was made when Rockford owned MB Quart USA.

The pre-purchase question was just for my own knowledge. Didn't really made much difference. I saw one of these floating around and was amazed by the power ratings and the internals from amp guts.

Taken from amp guts:

4 x 250W @ 4/2 ohms
1 x 500W @ 8/4 ohms bridge (rear only)
Fuse: External 150A

Its an awesome amp, with a not so awesome msrp.

I still have a brand new one of these amps, I had 3 of them. And they are absolutely awesome amps!

Made in germany and not by maxxsonics hehe.

Very heavy amp, tons of power and built like a brick!

I got the magazine also with the original review.
