I had this problem on 195/50R
15 wheels.... changed shock to no avail. Also thought the springs were weak but I was wrong since I changed again to no avail.
Any weight at the back causes them to drop LOW. These are not work-horses like the DX. I ended up rolling the fenders in the back. I run 205/40ZR17 now with no serious problems... in highway depressions with heavy weight in the car the right-side back barely touches the roll of the lip. A flatter roll can solve this but you always have to worry about cleaning the fenders regularly so they don't rust.
and please... if you do roll your fenders GO BY MILEAGE MACK!
Don't go by any tuner under their house like I did and get setup three times.
The extra money is worth the good service.
Stiffer springs would be the drop springs like those offered by
Tuner Imports
TEIN, Megan Racing etc. I think there was a discussion on springs somewhere in this forum too.
I will change to these too.... had plans but budget change
