i doh get no problems starting a game..longest it does take me from when i put on the game to get into a game is about 3-4 mins and daz including time i take waiting in the lobby and i have 256k

whether or not a patch will fix it is not the point

i can't praise a game now based on the probability dat a future patch will make it better

however, i agree wit u bout the headset part...

if i remember correctly warhawk had the exact same issues when it was released last year wit a headset too... and after the upgraded patch it turned out to be a great game

so i guess i will wait for socom's patch before i play it again

SOCOM isn't sh1t...it's Sony and Slant6 screwed everyone

The game has plenty potential but they phoq up big time, they knew since the beta versions the server had problems and obviously it's saturday night and most PS3 owners have no lives so they will be playing SOCOM

SOCOM has a global following...and they fully well know this...but chose to do nothing

Now $60USD later people are pissed...but have a decent headset

No no no, Sony players have a life thats why they do server maintainence on the Saturday. Xbox Live cant do such a thing because the XBots will sell their tanks and buy Wiis.
