pet names ?
wel recently i got a lovely half pot hound half ridge back , ah ridge hound so to say lol and i named him Spartan.
thanks for the puppy BlueIce, he is doing fine by the way
another tuner took onthe same day and named him rusty
I personally find Spartan is more masculine, just to train him to let out 3 small barks like ruff ruff ruff when i call his name so thats my view on pet names

As for one's suggestion to use "common sense", I disagree. If you have to censor your forms of expression in hopes that your man is not publically embarassed, then that is one imps of a man.
Your manliness is not undermined or compromised depending on how your SO chooses to address you.
