Bit of an off-topic rant but I can never understand why local talent is not given more exposure :?

http://www.webbyawards.com/webbys/current.php?season=12
(go to "best use of photography")

or chk here.... http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/your-shot/your-shot

http://www.pentaxslr.com/bodies/k20

gotta tell you...a 14.6 MP cammie.....seems to be blowing up everything in its class....

it may have less fps than the 40D but...man...i liking the "weather sealed' bit.....better resolution...same noise but 40% more pixels, has a bigger buffer and and a finder you can see thru not the tunnel vision canon finders ......lol.....(hears no one else alfifn...quickly shuts up..)...also has wire less flash ( canon doesn't have this ) and supports "live view"....

oh...and very important won't give people plastic looking skin ( canon cmos thing )...(* seeing modship going beddy bye bye)...

might get it for $1149US here....im tempted...ohh im tempted..

i'm no Rensh or Duane or Smurf, but i read about....one of th reviews i read o nit was sayign that the processor had a tendency from time to time to lock up during processing...that and i think there was some grouse over the memory card option available....but apart form that.....got good reviews....i dunno..i think SOny entering the SLR market with take some time to warm up to....they're doing well in the Digital Cam Corder markets.....with Panasonic in a close second....
