alas, i wish i had taken those aerials...person too shy (yeah right!) to post them up  They were taken with a point and shoot and weren't cropped...that's how close it was taken! I was amazed by the shots as well.

Took these today...can't wait til my slr gets here...sigh:

nice shots there flatline, where is that ?

a polarizing filter might have even made them better
when you get your slr it will be a different world just being able to shoot instantly at will, what lens you getting ?

I went to a wedding in jamaica over the weekend and gave my camera a good workout all over the place, no matter how often you hear people talk about the importance of lighting only when you find yourself having to make adjustments quickly in changing situations you realise how important it is especially when you see a pro able to move fast with their fat and fast lens

check the young boy in this pic

mitch, what camera are you using?
Did you use a skylight filter for some of those?

I like the third one....the first seems to be a bit to bright...gives it cool sort of watercolour painting effect.

Dragist, the first image looks good, the colour & focus seems a bit off on the second image.

^^Yup....what they said.

Besides the sharper focus and the colour. I much prefer the composition of the first one.
