WTK: CALLING MITSU SUSPENSION GUYS!!!!!

Postby boogy » December 19th, 2007, 4:30 pm

Just wanted to find out if the rear diff bushings on the evo (4,5 or 6) are the same as the ones on the CK 1.8 gsr model??? Also where to find the gsr bushings.

AFAIK (and subject to correction)... Rear diff with helical LSD is common to all 4wd 1800 GSRs, Evo 3 (GSR & RS) and Evo 4 RS only. (Not sure about Evo 1 and Evo 2.)

E5 RS and E6 RS models had the bigger clutch-type LSD diffs. Don't think the axle housing bushings are common.

Evo 4 GSR had the first AYC rear diff, like Evo 5-9 GSRs (and E8 and E9 MRs.) Different unit entirely. Dont know if the axle housing bushings are common to either of the LSD diffs.

Best bet... Go to Powerflex UK site and check bushing part #s. That should tell you.
