THIS POPPED UP ON MY L-TOURING INSTRUMENT PANEL TONIGHT...

WHAT IS THAT?! If u cant see the pic clearly (taken in dark with fone) its 2 arrows pointing inwards to a dot and all encompassed by a bracket-looking ting...

I tort it was a jack-o-lantern seein that halloween comin up soon, like an easter egg built into the toyota ecu as a gentle reminder to buy your pumpkins two days before...them Japanese smart ans thoughtful.

Dragsta,
the link provided contains those what-if's.
basically uses the ABS sensor, so rims and tires can be changed. as long as you stay within your rolling diameter range.

think it may have been explained in a previous post but (to paraphrase)the tyre pressure indicator in this case senses differences in rotational speed via abs sensors and indicates when there is lo pressure. It may aalso also come on if work was done on the suspension...in my case when the cv boots were replaced.
There is a button (l touring at least) on the lower right of the dash to reset it or you could just disconnect battery for a few minutes.
I asked a Japanese iguy to translate the instructions and was told to hold button in while pumping brake pedal.....none of the other instructions i was given from Toyota people worked so why not?

my 1 1/2 cents...plus vat
