rb20 tranny conversion question.

For valid reasons, I wanna change an rb20 manual into automaitc transmission.
what i wanna find out is:

1) Is the tranny easily available and at what price?
2) Will it work properly?
3) How hard is it to install?

not that hard u will hav to get the harness for it an a lil re wiring i think an the brainbox for the tranny also (4speed or 5 speed) advise u to go wit the 4 speed short back less head ache to wire up an cost bout 1400

Also u will have to probably widen your tranny tunnel to accomadate the auto.....its ususally bigger than the manual

Is that non turbo? Cuz mines is turbo.

non-turbo.. buy it and use the tranny on your set-up..sell the engine etc after

^^^ the non turbo tranny will mash up if he uses it he has to get a turbo tranny an converter... wat car u doin d conversion on ? depends cause u may not hav to widen the tunnel

hmmm..true.. but he could sell the whole motor and gearbox and drop in a full auto system ..legit!
