no time is safe to speed on our public roads,
i raced a sir about 2 in the morning comming home from drags.
Let me tell you what happened in the end,
The guy took a corner too quick and spin out, colliding with a lady who was innoncently comming home in the opposite lane.
both of them could of been killed

I don't think he was boasting ppl...

He was asking a question? not sarcastically either-least i dont think so...

I think it may have to do with tuning silvermike...the amount of turbo cars that get eaten on a daily in trini-and no one speaks about it publicly is astounding...alot of turbo cars just not running right...

guys seeing big ball of flames and thick thick black smoke and figuring "YEAH MAN- thais how turbo car supposed to run" stueps...without realising the negative long term effects of the car running too rich over time...then the gas issue is another hurdle they have to step over...ah mean its an entire host of issues

STEP 3B - Go get a pint of ale, or something close, and set it nearby.

Under operation, (air filter off) lift the carb piston by 1/16" with the lifting pin or a screwdriver, which leans the mix a tad. If:

RPM's rise and stay up, that carb is rich.
RPM's rise briefly, then drop, mix is about right.
RPM's fall, engine gets rougher - mix is lean.

STEP 12 - Drink that warm beer (only one, no DWI now...) it will taste great at this point!, go wash up, and go for a ride.

i saw that STI run past you like if you were having a morning jog around a F1 track while races were in full swing. i think you should try to do a compression test and figure out why your car smokes so bad too. its too bad i had 4 grumpy people in my car because i usually run that STI whenever i see him on the way down to chase village and most likely it was me he saw and ran out but i couldnt run yesterday. i saw when you passed though very noisy difficult not to notice.
the difference is that you were drivin like a nut and he was simply waiting for a gap and then stretching you like a hooker. thats the way guys with big power do it. no squeezing through tiny cracks in traffic. simply waiting for the gap and running out. but very ambitious of you to think you could hold that STI.

THERE WAS NO RACING

the STI was racing that civic only if im racing the white lines seperating the slow and fast lanes on the highway when im on the road. the STI was more likely to slow down and let the civic pass cause he usually does that if i run up on him. the guy is enjoying his car oblivious to the fact that guys with slow cars like mine wanna run him. i actually annoy the heck outta him by pulling in front of him and slowing down till he runs out in full boost and im sure no one's that much of a road menace so i doubt any of you ever raced this STI. the guy has a fast car so he may appear to be racing anyone driving fast. you should see the way that car leaves me at about 160 on the highway. i'm willing to put up the pink slip for my car that silvermike's civic would get about 3 car lengths from that STI on the quarter mile and about 2 mins on the highway.

call me nuh
I have spares, including a pair of brand new tail lights, bonnet, plus whatever still there from when Mr. Harris bulldoze my alpine coupe into the dirt  yes, I think we destroyed one of the rearest alpines in history, a factory coupe, possibly a Le Mans prototype...all documented coupes were fibreglass conversions of convertibles, except the Le Mans set, which were all steel, with integrated steel windshield surround, not chrome like the convertibles, and a proper shortened steel trunk....and mine fit the le mans body spec perfectly

umm no... that STi never ran pass me. come again. maybe u saw when i slowed down and he came for the ricer flyby. ... and i wasnt alone in the car either. :?

y try to deny it. its pathetic. and yea, as u say i was behind for some of the time... but not on full throttle ;)... no where to go... he was the one going through the traffic, i was just following. let me guess the white primera? btw. its valve seals.... need some new gaskets!

and no doubt that Sti would give me 3 lengths on the 1/4. only? i would think more.

2 mins on the highway? i doubt it, consicering the speed cut.
