You should have seen the videos of the minor flooding that took place over the weekend in the vicinity of blue mountain. The rainy season would show the true colours of that highway.

what is amusing is the various spots where they put
“animal crossing” signs with big barricades to deter the animald
yet it whole place has been bisected so very unlikely animals can pass to go across

Dawg
Daz a lil house on a hill, over the drain
Me eh even know how them build that there in all the bush
Based on the comments
They were using a dirt track and makeshift bridge for access thru someone else's land
So i dont know what they really looking for

The issue is that the PNM feel they coulda rush to open here 3days before elections to gain "points"
But instead, a set of rush-work was done leaving a massive bridge and water course to channel water across the mainroad into a few concrete cylinders

They need to finish the roadworks at that exit asap IMO
The current exit and traffic plan is failure
Plus the drainage issue is gonna get worst.

Sections of new Sangre Grande Highway begin to erode

Concerns are mounting as parts of the recently constructed highway to Sangre Grande have started to erode, raising questions about the quality of the infrastructure and long-term durability.

lol
i passed there today, that spot is 2 lane section closer to guaico
the big sloped concrete drainage channels on each side are filled with the red dirt which slipping from the slopes higher up
counted several excavators scooping out the dirt
that’s gonna be a continual problem as the whole highway has exposed dirt which is visibly washing out

Add effing up the protected Aripo savannah to the list .
There are plant and animal species in there that are very rare and don't live anywhere else in the country.
PNM gave squatter free reign and easy access

It would have been smarter to continue the CRH and reached the new one, but people had interests in cumuto. I say no more.
