Don't advertise your money, or where it's kept, or when. Play broke always if you can
People who happen to know you keep large sums that DON'T live with you, don't know where you live or what you drive
Keep the location of your safe/vault/lockbox a well hidden secret, even from the people you live with

I would say the majority of the country.In this circus, there are no consequences for personal actions, unless you offend one of the ruling class . This is a result of terrible parenting.I am literally witnessing the character development of a criminal IRL. He does all sorts of dotishness including property damage,stealing,gambling,bullying other children in school etc. The mother does not take any complaints, and the step father dgaf any more.I give the step father props for trying to correct him earlier on. But this is how it starts and continues.

Robbers stole three high-end vehicles, cash, valuables, and a registered firearm from a retired neurosurgeon during a home invasion on Sunday.

The 84-year-old Fairways, Maraval resident was at home with his 42-year-old caretaker and gardener from Blanchisseuse when five men breached the property’s walls and entered the house.

Between 7 pm and 7.45 pm on March 16, the intruders beat and tied up both victims.

One suspect spoke on the phone with a man who directed him where to search and where to find the safes.

An armed suspect ordered the retired doctor to provide the codes to open the safes. The victim later handed over the keys, allowing the suspects to steal TT$21,000 in cash, a quantity of US and Pounds Sterling, an iPhone 11 valued at TT$7,000, a Smith & Wesson revolver containing five rounds of .38 ammunition, and 20 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

The suspects ransacked the house, stole several boxes of alcohol, and removed the DVR system hidden in the kitchen. They also escaped with three vehicles: a brown Porsche Cayenne, a black Brabus Mercedes-Benz, and a white Land Cruiser 100 series.

The victims managed to free themselves and raised the alarm.

Officers from the Maraval Police Station responded, and emergency health officials took the former doctor to hospital for a cut under his right foot, which was not life-threatening.

As police launched a search for the suspects, they recovered the Porsche Cayenne abandoned along Golf Course Road a short while later. Around 1 am, officers found the Mercedes-Benz on Bedassie Street, St Augustine.

The victim provided the names of several persons of interest, whom the police planned to interview yesterday.
