I realize sumting. Trump pushing hard for ceasefire , as Russia is on track to win outright .
The problem is us don't hsve the weapons in hand to support both Ukraine and Middle East and need to support middle east so need to divest Ukraine .
But they don't want a outright win for Russia , at least a ceasefire would pause the Russia win into no win as time goes on.

When the soldiers handling kursk are done , they not gonna rack up and go home. They gonna be deployed further into donbas.

As the donbass goes on, the resistance gets thinner and thinner.
Soon the defensive line will fragment into pockets , and then get addressed by more numerous Russian forces .

They also have minimum 1000 positions all over the world . Much of thst us money on non arms items, even the arms and soldiers can't be repositioned to funnel into any single theater.
Its a lot of money, but spread thinly around the world.

The next ting, the us don't get the same value fir dollar spent compared to everyone else they view as threats.

Like a business , make a lot of gross profit, but net is a small margin ... They spend a lot, but can't get it concentrated on any single threat .

They tried to get Russia and Iran to spread thin in Syria. That one additional theater alone would have stretch them thin.
They had to take that loss, in order to have resources to tackle this upcoming episode

Iran can barely take Israel on directly instead using proxies. It's the main reason they need nukes to compensate for their conventional weakness.

Anyhows the isolationism of Trump is pushing countries like Germany forward and we will see defense spending not seen in generations in Europe. Russia will be challenged on multiple fronts.

Rheinmetal is becoming of of Germany's largest companies due to Trump.

They not going to do that without russisn cheap gas while dedicating part of it's production capacity to arming Ukraine .

The only reason why Iran has to dedicate to defense is cause Isreal. The reason why it hasnt taken out isrel is cause it would not survive the American assault.

But usa isn't what it used to be, and the axis of resistance is stronger now.

Usa is in a catch 22 wrt fossil. It can't tolerate low oil prices and can't tolerate high domestic fuel prices .

Any major action on Iran gonna make u want to ride bike and take walks.

We will see how this plays out...

Bloggers saying Russia let the last Ukraine troops exit kursk and it's under full control of the Russian military ..
Prolly by weekend that would be well established.

The negotiations puck elenski was hoping for is now no more. He head nothing to negotiate with. He has no weapons beside what usa is willing to send ,

Rumors of talks about Odessa and the zaporosha region, with shared mineral rights with usa.
Also about elenski stepping down.

Lol!!!!

Russia is nowhere close to Odessa having been bogged down before the Dnipro River. They barely control the oblasts that geographically preceed Odessa (Mykolaiv and Kherson). They control 70% of Zapoorizhzia after 3 years and 61% of Donetsk, a place they been waging war for eleven years.

Whatever is the Russian version of Hasbara you follow needs changing.

Every time I see one of Medvedev's tweets or videos shidding on the UK (Like this week's where he claims one Russia Nuke missile can destroy London) and all the Western Putinites jump in joy I always wonder if they don't reazlie nukes can fly both ways.

Russia will never know where the Tridents come from.

You are right British subs are going to get bigger, faster and quieter. Those 12 100KT warheads each of the 12 Tridents on the Dreadnought class subs subs carry will wipe out every single populated Russian city if Putin or Russia ever thinks of doing something to London.

My Maidan massacre studies are linked in The Hill article by University of Texas at Austin professor: "First, as recently documented by overwhelming forensic evidence, and affirmed even by a Kyiv court, it was Ukrainian right-wing militants who started the violence in 2014 that provoked Russia’s initial invasion of the country’s southeast including Crimea. Back then, Ukraine had a pro-Russia president, Viktor Yanukovych, who had won free and fair elections in 2010 with strong support from ethnic Russians in the country’s southeast.

In 2013, he decided to pursue economic cooperation with Russia rather than Europe as previously planned. Pro-western activists responded with mainly peaceful occupation of the capital’s Maidan square and government offices, until the president eventually offered substantial concessions in mid-February 2014, after which they mainly withdrew.

Just then, however, right-wing militants overlooking the square started shooting Ukrainian police and remaining protesters. Police returned fire at the militants, who then claimed bogusly that the police had killed the unarmed protesters. Outraged by this ostensible government massacre, Ukrainians descended on the capital and ousted the president, who fled to Russia for protection.

Putin responded by deploying troops to Crimea and weapons to the southeast Donbas region on behalf of ethnic Russians who felt their president had been undemocratically overthrown. While this backstory does not justify Russia’s invasion, it explains that it was hardly “unprovoked."

I rarely agree with President Trump, but his latest controversial statements about Ukraine are mostly true. They seem preposterous only because western audiences have been fed a steady diet of disinformation about Ukraine for more than a decade. It is time to set the record straight on three key points that illuminate why Ukrainians and former President Joe Biden — not merely Russian President Vladimir Putin — bear significant responsibility for the outbreak and perpetuation of war in Ukraine."

That's like Rowley dem borrowing and borrowing and using the money to build stadium.

They putting them selves into debt to do that and that army will not be nearly as good as the Ukraine one, which still was bested by Russia.
.. And they will have to do with without America and inflated currencies.

That is just them being sore losers instead of seeing about the development of the countries.

Four US Soldiers who went missing yesterday during a training exercise in Lithuania have turned up dead near the border with Belarus.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said Wednesday that four U.S. soldiers who went missing while training in Lithuania have died, but that he did not yet know the details. A U.S. official would say only that the four soldiers were involved in a training accident. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, would not comment on the status of the soldiers. Rutte said during a trip to Warsaw that he had received word of the deaths of the four soldiers and that his thoughts were with their families and with the United States.

“This is still early news so we do not know the details. This is really terrible news and our thoughts are with the families and loved ones,” Rutte told reporters in Warsaw.

A statement from U.S. Army Europe and Africa public affairs in Wiesbaden, Germany said the soldiers were conducting scheduled tactical training at the time. Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT reported that four U.S. soldiers and vehicle were reported missing Tuesday afternoon during an exercise at the General Silvestras Žukauskas training ground in Pabradė, a town located less than 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the border with Belarus.

Did they fall from an open window ...

In other news , ceasefire talks still going on, seems Russia gets its way.. Details still need finalization.
Imo , ceasefire now does not help Russia . I expect them to drag it out. Possibly till they get decisive control over the present battle grounds

The Govnt of Antigua is currently embroiled in fallout over a yacht that has its origins in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Alfa Nero belonged to a Russian Oligarch Andre Guryev, the man who owns the 2nd largest house in London after Buckingham Palace. The boat has been stuck in Antigua since the war. The Antiguan Govnt auctioned it off with Eric Schmidt of Google buying it initially and then pulling out after he realized it would be problematic but now there is a legal battle between the daughter of the Oligarch and the Govnt of Antigua.

Russia put out in invistion to elenski to meet in turkey to discuss surrender.

The coalition of the stupid putting together a package to supply Ukraine with more weapons via a ceasefire agreement they proposing to putin.

Trump might use the rejection of the ceasefire to pull usa out and leave it up to the Europeans .

All the while Russia makes forward progress with out much resistance.
As time goes by they are considering taking more territory for the donbas buffer.

The goal is to have a nazi free and nato free Ukraine , if they play games too long, that might come by taking all Ukraine.

If the wast valued Ukraine so much, why not jsut let it into nato and defend it properly ?
Or was the truth that it was just being used to attack Russia ..
