Police and ambulance have no right breaking a red light

the articles report that judge says the regulations do not allow them to run red lights.
so it wouldn't matter if their siren is on off

we probably need to introduce preemption technology so that emergency vehicles can remotely control traffic lights ensuring that they have green when going through just like in US

Even if they have the system installed….The police the sheriffs, the state troopers the highway patrol the ambulance the fire trucks, the fire chief they all wait at the lights and stop signs for 3-5 seconds making sure they are seen and heard before punching through. It’s the law. Only the president His VP maybe even his governors and foreign dignitaries blast through every intersection without stopping

It so funny I was passing by mausica lights by pricesmart last night and lo and behold a police xtrail was pulling up to the red light. It was only when the he reached to a stop he decided to put on the siren to proceed. Make it make sense. It will always your word against theirs and they could make up some bs about emergency

They do this even if they have the system installed it’s the law. They slow down and check before punching through because there are idiots on the road
