Around 12:47am on the 3/10/24 #16115 Cpl Jaikaran driving vehicle PEE 9918 ERP 152 in company with #8474 PC Persad were on mobile patrol in the Felicity area when a call for assistance was received from the Chaguanas Mobile patrol that a white Kia K2700 van with several occupants was in the Felicity area and wanted relative to several reports of robbery.
The van was observed along Pierre Road being pursued by Chaguanas Mobile. ERP 152 intercepted the vehicle and together with the Chaguanas Mobile, arrested the four occupants namely,
1. Justin Ramkissoon age 24 of #105 Cassia Trace Caparo the driver of TDX8501 together with
2. Christopher Singh age 20 of #1 Brian Lane, Chrissie Terrace, Enterprise Chaguanas;
3. Josiah Bruce age 19 of Siewdass Street, Isha Heights Freeport and
4. Renzial Ramdial age 22 of Lamont Street, Longdenville.
Several items of evidential value including 15 cellphones, various id and bank cards was recovered together with house breaking implements.
PC Ali of Chaguanas Police and the Chaguanas CID and Cunupia CID continuing enquires re robberies and breaking in the central division."

Man, 44, woman, 24, charged with attempted murder of 1-year-old
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has given instructions to charge two persons in relation to the abuse of a one-year-old baby, the Police Service has confirmed.
Head of the TTPS’ South/Central Division, ACP Wayne Mystar, revealed last week that he had received information and a video about the incident involving the infant.
ACP Mystar said the video he received shows two children sleeping peacefully before someone begins stomping on them.
In the video, the children are seen and heard to be screaming and crying while the attack is ongoing.
According to ACP Mystar, when the police arrived at the home, the child was found to have marks of violence about the body, including a broken rib.
The child’s mother, her sister and the sister’s boyfriend were taken into custody,
The South/Central Division head released a statement today, confirming that charges are being laid.
“Relative to a report last Wednesday, October 2, 2024, of a 1-year-old child that was physically abused, investigators of the Child Protection Unit had an audience with the Director of Public Prosecutions today. The DPP advised that a 24-year-old female and a 44-year-old male be charged for attempted murder, neglect and ill-treatment of a child,” ACP Mystar reported.
He is urging neighbours and members of the public who may be aware of instances of child abuse and domestic violence taking place in their communities to report these cases.
“If you see something, say something,” he had said during his media conference last week, as he noted that 70 per cent of homicides in this country are related to domestic violence.
