It is a getable score as the pitch a little more friendly to batsman. A disciplined approach is required!

How much longer allyuh feel west Indies will be playing test cricket? We have a chance of beating south Africa in a year series for the 1st time in history and yet still the stands empty..... on a weekend. Was the same on the 2 days I went to the oval test last week. Even our own west Indian fans can't be bothered to watch the team play..... so the board is losing money by hosting test cricket.

The only revenue they earn is from team sponsors and TV rights. When the broadcasters realize nobody even watching on TV...... the TV money won't be enough to sustain Test cricket in west Indies. It have no great batsmen like Lara coming up wanting to play Test cricket for West Indies..... as soon as any batsman with some promise get IPL money...... they done with tests as that's hard work for small money compared to going and make big money in some other bush T20 league. How do you market a team whose own players and fans have given up on them?

I guess this is now peal cricket season.
WCPL starts today
CPL starts next week and TKR have already started to convene in Trinidad.
SA and WI play a T20 Series this week.

Anyone showing at Hyatt over the next few days will inevitably bounce up an international cricketer or three.

SA missing about 8 international class players:

Coetzee
Rabada
Ngidi
Nokia (However it's spelled)
Shamsi
Jansen
De Kock
Klassen

WI essentially played a C team. We know what they can do against SA full strength team in the WC T20 tournament.

All these high scores in the CPL so far I've heard, I'm pretty sure is mostly West Indian domestic bowlers our so called international batsmen are facing making it look like they are something special for beating up non international class players.

The last two games were played in St Kitts.
That ground has probably some of the smallest boundaries in world cricket. Don't read too much into the size of scores there.

India beat Bangladesh in a test match where Days 2 and 3 were washed out completely and Day 1 only had one session of play before the rains came down.
That was some really intense cricket on their part to be able to get a result in the remaining time of the game.

Pakistan probably thought 556 was a good first innings score against England. Brook - 317 and Root - 260 make more runs than that combined.
