Gunman shoots up licensing officer’s home in Chaguanas

THE home of a 41-year-old licensing officer in Chase Village in Chaguanas was shot up on the night of May 9.

The police said around 11.45 pm, the victim was at his home when he heard several gunshots.

Upon checking, he discovered bullet holes in two cars, a white Nissan March and a silver Toyota Rav4, that were parked in the yard.

There were no reports of injuries.

The shooting, captured on CCTV cameras, shows a motorbike with two men pulled up at the front of the house.

One man holding a gun got off and walked toward the front gate. He fired several shots while the other remained on the bike.

The shooter got back on the bike, which drove off.

Both men wore long-sleeve hoodies.

The police do not have a motive.

Investigations are ongoing.

the camera requires power and cabling to go back to the dvr which have to be somewhere nearby.

it seems discriminatory for them to target these cameras as being used for criminal use.

suppose somebody living near those locations also put up similar aimed cameras on their property
would ttps have an issue?

my cameras have been visited by ttps on at least 4-5 times to request footage

Since they were mounted on ttec poles they could easily tap off power from the live lines using heavy gloves. Ttec do it all the time when connecting street lights as well as home connections just as the good boys do who get free current from ttec in the north and petrotrin/heritage in the south.
As for transmission they said they found wireless routers so I'm guessing it was all transmitted over WiFi. From there they could monitor and possibly record using an app as well. I have some cheapo wyze cams and they work exactly the same way, just need a power source
