Opposition UNC Senator Anil Roberts today filed nomination papers to contest the St. Joseph seat when the general election is called. Roberts was asked about the relationship between the UNC and the NTA in relation to the screening for a UNC candidate for the St. Joseph seat.

Looks like (un) paid influencer seems to have gone off the rails and abandoned Philip, maybe he enjoys being in the company of former men, also is the "accommodation" still on? Anyway, Kamla still has enough brown nosers to prop her up. Paray and others are not popular enough on their own to effect any change. Kamla has been entrenched by surrounding herself with sycophants who offer nothing of substance on their own, so there's no obvious alternative to the supreme chairman.paid_influencer wrote:DMan7 wrote:The only person to get rid of Kamla is Kamla herself and we all know she won't EVER decide to step down as opposition leader unless something serious like health related matters were to come up. It has been PNM's elections to lose in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025, however, the electorate has chosen the alternative only once, despite the crime rate, economic woes, a pandemic, property tax, fuel increases, Petrotrin closure and an arrogance bordering on authoritarian. Despite the opposition routinely gaining the majority of votes, any basic analysis will show that the support is concentrated in the strongholds. With a massive majority in parliament, nothing was attempted to ensure that the Westminster system was abolished and the popular vote would ensure the correct party gained power. Instead the priority was section 34.pugboy wrote:a lot of ppl are indeed fedup
but if there is a unc implosion, many unc voters may not vote which usually means one thing

PNM won the popular vote in 2015 and 2020 though.
