Yeah would have to wait a bit for developers to make software for it.

I'm thinking a great application besides CAD, would be a DAW and track mixing. Or Bluetooth compatibility for MIDI so some virtual instruments can be used that way.

Or video editing software like Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve with editing time lines, colour wheels etc in different screens around you - that would be very useful

Hey guys, trying to setup a child account in iOS. It’s asking for payment method when the age is under 13 and my card won’t work.
Anybody have an idea what I should do?

If you can’t prove you are an adult u can’t create a child account. Kinda should be the other way

I tried on the Vision Pro today and took it for a test drive and I must say it truly amazing technology. They fitted it with $140 prescription lenses for me not very heavy I forgot I was wearing the device for a bit. I love The demo videos they are 180 and 360 panoramic you feel like you are there in the room or out in nature. Navigating with eyes and fingers is finicky but doable once you get used to it.

Unless you are a rich guy or looking for views on YouTube I recommend leave this alone and let the developers work on it. For the rest of the year Buy it used next year. It reminds me of 2007 when I brought myself a 16gig iPhone 2G for Christmas and it had no apps or video camera. TSTT was stingy with data. Could not do much with it for a year.

But say what I pulled up Trinituner and I placed it up on the ceiling above my avatar movie next to the dinosaur app… and said welcome to the future. Dang it I Should of posted this directly from the Vision Pro

I take it you have your Apple ID country set to US and you are trying to use a T&T credit card?

yes the AppStore can only use cards from the same country your AppleID is set to.
If you want to use a T&T card you will have to change your store to T&T but you will lose the purchases and subscriptions you made once you change the country.
If you want to continue to use the US store you will need to either use gift cards or get a card from a US bank.

Make sure your App Store region and billing along with the credit card are the same first.

If it doesn’t work then you can try to set up the account using a web browser vs in iOS, sometimes it does misbehave

The US government is treating them the same way they did to Microsoft back in the day for anti-trust violations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Microsoft_Corp

And rightly so to protect the consumers and their citizens. Most times consumers aren't even aware they're getting royally screwed. Corporations easily get carried away with capitalism greed if the market is not regulated. Regulations by the government is always needed in every industry.

Report claims Vision Pro sales have ‘fallen sharply’ as Apple struggles to whip up demand
https://www.techradar.com/computing/report-claims-vision-pro-sales-have-fallen-sharply-as-apple-struggles-to-whip-up-demand

Sales of Apple’s Vision Pro headset have been so low that the company has been forced to drastically cut its shipment forecasts, meaning it expects to sell far fewer than previously thought over the next year. That’s according to a recent report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and if it’s true it will come as a bitter blow to Apple and the device it sees as its “next big thing.”

Previously, Kuo had claimed that we would not see a Vision Pro with “significant changes” until 2027. An update would come in late 2025 or early 2026, he believed, but Apple would focus on improving the production process, meaning “the user experience will not differ from the current model.”

^ at US$3500+ a pop it was unlikely that it would have iPhone, iPad, Watch, Macbook Air (now M2 $999 and M1 $649 (through an Apple/Walmart deal)) and AirPods levels of continuity of sales

The tech not ready yet, but it was very bold of Apple Marketing to make a move in that direction to begin to normalize the ideas to the world.

However Oculus VR was already making such strides on par with reality and a much lower price. Computer genius John Carmack has been heading the Oculus project a while now with constant development.
