Maybe 3 years for the same 700. Have jumpstarter in car.

last time i had battery issues and had one replaced the warranty just continued on the replacement instead of getting a fresh start

Anyone know where I can purchase an ER3S 3.6v battery... It is about half the size of an AA battery.

Cause like most things in the world... They are made by few manufactures that just stick a different label on it to create the many brands that are available. I believe Northstar is one of those few manufactures

Getting 28 months thus far with a Rocket battery on my Hilux. A little paranoid as this is the second Rocket i have owned and longest yet. I go to Laughlin every month since it went past 24 months to check it. Laughlin says it still holding charge.

Had an AC Delco for about 5 years before it started failing. Put one exactly the same but it's only been a year.

Used Rocket before and got about 3 years on it.

Installed one of those new Track Ultra after my PowerMaster kicked the bucket. Anyone has any experience on these EFB batts on regular vehicles without start stop or hybrid tech?

Pricesmart works good for me got 4 years with about 125000 km of driving on the last one from them battery is less than 900 for hilux

I would say the opposite
if one thing this ched has shown, is there's no clear winner
Technically Power master is imported so not local...
Track is locally assembled with boxes and plates imported
Over the years, I've had good service from Track and Energizer (Price Smart). Also had a Stinger in one car and got about 5 years from it
Two cars currently have AGM batteries from Active General, and two have Track batteries

Which is the basis for my opinion.
Maybe was a bad batch at the time but doesn't do well for the reseller and customers. Also doesn't help if they were not nice about the warranty issue.

It's hard to tell where anything is made these days, saw a track on fb marketplace that said made in turkey . Eveready from pricesmart in 2018 I got literally 12months in k12 march. 2020 Bosch in the y11 I got about 1.5 years but they had 36months warranty so I got it replaced. That replacement died march last year and I had a yuasa that died last week ie not holding charge overnight. My alternator is charging @ 14.35 so that's very good. Really considering an AGM but space is very limited in the y11 may have to consider a trunk placement but it's also small pole, really looking at an optima red top too. I saw online a small to big pole converter but even if sourced locally is it recommended to use a conversion pole ? I came across the power master Ad from longtime on tik tok recently and mannn it got me thinking "gets you started" lol. In my experience the average battery isn't good anymore

Batteries are all dependent on the batch.
I do believe batteries are sticker labels also like ACs.

I have done many Everready from PM and had one replaced prematurely.

Had a Miatsu that was failing and replaced with another so for over two years didn't need a battery. No fuss and would buy in a heartbeat.

Never had any issues with the American Superior units.

I expect a battery to fail before hand but the service that goes with it from experience would be the deciding factor on what brand I buy.

In short, everyone has their personal preference and experience and that is why we have these forums to share with others for them to hopefully make an informed decision for their situation.

I currently have an Optima from PM, that just went past 3 yrs, because of some music in one car and a Power Master because it was on sale on another car I hardly use. Have to replace one soon and honestly want to get an American Superior for it or maybe a Miatsu. Why not an Eveready...idk lol. Maybe I will or a Power Master based on price. I know for sure which one I'm not getting haha.

Very well said sir, understand completely. To each his own. A guy told me about those Grey gel batteries branded Eaton I'm even looking at one of those, American superior up to today I saw one for the 1st time it looks like a good battery to buy but I've never seen them before. One parts place I went a guy there was rating up the MAC brand said it's guaranteed years of service, another place said track ultra or something like that is 5 years for sure but it was $1400 that's optima price
