3. Lifestyle pictures or testimonials from “successful” traders
These portrayals often glorify a fantastical “trader’s lifestyle” complete with fancy cars, private jets, yachts, and other stereotypical displays of wealth. Genuine brokers share content focusing on technical and fundamental analysis, market research, and trader education – not on the flashy lifestyles of “successful” traders.

Update: They abandon the quarry.The_Honourable wrote:ammmm... insurance to forex/crypto to... quarrying?
Trillions entrance to industry
In July, Trillions Systems Ltd, which started off as a digital crypto-currency investment company based at 14 Bernard Street, Mon Repos, San Fernando, advertised its entry into the quarrying industry on Instagram as one of its physical investment portfolios seeking investors.
One of the main people behind the company, Kerron Rose, in a telephone interview on August 16, said the 72-acre quarry is on private land and the company had obtained all the necessary approvals from the Ministry of Energy and the EMA to begin operations.
Rose said those documents were available for inspection at the respective quarry sites they had under operation at Turure, near National Quarries and at Orosco Bay Road, Matura.
He said a third site, to quarry for limestone at Cumaca, Valencia, was not yet in operations "because it has a hair-pin bend which needs fixing.
"Because Trillions is a new company, which only officially registered in November 2022, we don't have experience to tender to take on those kind of contracts. We have to wait until the Ministry of Works get somebody who they normally get to fix that part of the road."
Another director, Rodrigo Kabira, said surveyors had been hired to survey the land to ensure the operation was not encroaching on the protected forest reserve even before they began quarrying.
"The cadastral we are operating under is 72 acres. It is private land.
"Right now the only two things we are working on now, we have two pieces of land with agreements from the owners with gravel on it."
They said they were unaware police had previously shut down a quarry along the Orosco Bay Road.
Rose said he "did not even know (the run-off from the quarry) was a factor in any equation" which could pollute the ocean and prevent the turtles from coming ashore.
Rose said according to the cadastral map of the area, they were not encroaching on the forest reserve.
He said surveyors were at the Matura site on August 15, "just to make sure" they remain within the boundaries of the 72-acre parcel of land.
Rose said the documents with all the state approvals for mining were kept on site to show potential investors when they visit the quarrying site. He promised to send copies of the cadastral map, the mining licence and the certificate of environmental clearance from the EMA, but they were not forthcoming.
The company, however, provided a scope of works to help repair the Cumaca Road in Valencia, which received the approval of the acting director of highways in December 2023. That letter was addressed to Keron Valentine, a director of Trillions Systems Ltd.
EMA aware of activity
On August 16, the EMA, in response to questions sent by Newsday, said it did not have on record any application for a CEC from Trillions Systems Ltd for any quarry activity at Orosco Bay Road.
The organisation said it "has received complaints of illegal quarrying activities" at Orosco Road, Matura, but was not aware of any "active police investigation."
In response to a query as to what the EMA would do to assist the any police investigation, the organisation responded: "The EMA will provide the information (Newsday) provided to the Multi-Agency Task Force of the TTPS and the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries. These are the primary agencies with responsibility for illegal quarrying."
There was no response to queries seeking information from the Forestry Division, the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, or the Land and Surveys Division.

the odds that James Kerron Rose and Keron Rose are different people but with 'setbacks' when it comes to investments is uncanny
