Cool Story time

For context I live in a yard that is walled and gated but I have a garage to the back of the house that is covered but open.

This morning at around 1.50am we were awakened by what sounded like shouting and scuffling in my yard. By the time we got up and peeped outside there were two men beating a 3rd man on my bridge. OFC no one went outside as the people were all strange but we recently started a Neighborhood Watch Whatsapp group so messages started to come in.

Eventually the beaters left and the "beatee" limped off. Police came not too long after the ppl left, asked some questions and did a complete sweep of the yard and those of my cousins next door (its a big compound with several houses).

This morning I realize my driver side car door is dented just slightly and is completed clean whilst the other door is dirty. There was also a face print on the driver side glass. Seems they pinned the man against my car.

In all that time I was hoping they didn't kill the man anywhere on our property b/c i just wasn't able to handle that at this time.

I never bothered with cameras b/c with the systems that my two cousins who live around me have installed all of my yard is monitored just not by myself.

Secret appeals to MS-13 leaders
In the indictment unsealed Feb. 23, US attorneys accused members of Bukele’s government of masking themselves in order to secretly enter prisons in the country and conduct secret talks with MS-13 gang leaders.

The allegation – which also accuses the Salvadorean government of freeing an MS-13 gangster wanted for extradition by the United States – is contained in recently-released court documents related to the trial of several MS-13 members in a New York District Court.


While it does not name the government representatives alleged to have negotiated with gang, the indictment paints a damning picture of favors – including shorter prison sentences and more comfortable prison conditions – granted by Bukele’s government to one of the world’s bloodiest criminal gangs in exchange for help fulfilling his campaign promise to reduce murders in the country.
